The clips af¿xed joint covers are designed to provide an attractive and decorative low cost solution to the problem of protecting and concealing expansion joints in the structure of a building. They are suitable for use in new and refurbishment projects for walls, ceilings and Àoors.
CLIPS AFFIXED JOINT COVERS FOR STANDARD AND SEISMIC STRUCTURAL MOVEMENT JOINTS
Extruded Aluminium The extruded aluminium clips af¿xed joint covers for expansion joints can be used for exteriors and interiors. They are manufactured from 6063 T6 Aluminium alloy and can be ¿nished with a 15 micron thick natural (colourless) anodising layer. They are available from stock in 3 meters lengths and following widths:

Fast and easy to install, the clips af¿xed joint covers are produced in aluminium, PVC and brass extrusions. They will successfully span joints up to 150 mm in all types of buildings: of¿ce buildings, shopping centres, schools, hospitals, hot
els, blocks of Àats, retail development, food stores, municipal buildings, leisure centres, factories, airport terminals, rail terminals, etc…
Flat models :
- 50 mm, 60 mm, 70 mm, 90 mm, 120 mm, 140 mm, 180 mm and 210 mm
Angle models :
- 50 mm, 60 mm, 70 mm, 90 mm and 120 mm Aluminium clips af¿xed joint cover can also be supplied powder-coated, upon request, in any RAL colour. All models can be supplied mill or anodised ¿nished. Non standard lengths and drilled pro¿les can be supplied on special orders. *Please contact us for quantities and conditions. Extruded PVC The extruded PVC clips af¿xed joint covers can be used for exteriors and interiors. The colours white RAL 9016, cream RAL 1015 and grey RAL 7035 are available from stock in lengths of 3 meters and in 50 mm, 70 mm and 90 mm wide, Àat and angle models. Please contact us for any special model or colour. Extruded Brass The extruded brass clips af¿xed joint covers are manufactured from CW 620 N (ASTM C 38000) alloy. Th
ey are available from stock in lengths of 3 meters and in 90 mm wide, Àat model only. Polishing can be made upon request.

2 models
The extruded clips af¿xed joint covers will successfully cover joints from 10 mm to 150 mm and are af¿xed by using specially developed spring clips. The Àat joint covers for façades, walls and ceilings are referenced as W pro¿les. The Àat joint covers for light Àoors and heavy duty Àoors are respectively referenced as LF and F pro¿les. The F pro¿les (F 060, F 070) have been developed to withstand heavy pedestrian traf¿c and light vehicles up to a maximum axle load of 6 kN. The letter E always denotes a corner pro¿le: EW - ELF. The number which follows the letter(s) always indicate
s the width of the joint covers in mm.

Fixing clips
The joint covers can be af¿xed by using specially designed spring clips manufactured from tempered stainless steel which do not corrode and remain permanently Àexible without loss of back pressure, thus providing an extremely positive ¿xing. Fixing clips do not require any additional ¿xing such as sealant or screws and plugs attachments. 4 models of ¿xing clips are available from stock and are used in accordance with the width of the structural gap. * These unique and particularly innovative clips are protected by international patents. Special models can be studied and manufactured for speci¿c situations such as chamfered joints. Please consult our technical department for more details.

FOLDED JOINT COVERS
The folded joint covers
for façades, walls and ceilings, are used when a clips afÀxed proÀle cannot be installed. They can be Àxed using silicone, polyurethane or MS polymer sealant or mechanically Àxed using screws and plugs. The folded joint covers for Áoors are designed for heavy duty trafÀc Áoors. They have to be mechanically or chemically Àxed. Please contact us for assistance.

Note:The above table indicates the minimum width of joint cover (L dimension) recommended according to the initial width of the structural gap (Fb). A 70 mm wide joint cover is recommended to cover a structural gap of 35-50 mm. Of course a joint cover wider than 70 mm c
an also be used: 90 mm, 120 mm, 140 mm,180 mm, 210 mm. In order to avoid any mistake, it is important to check that the selected models of joint covers and clips are adapted to the concerned situation on job site.
