►Clip affixed joint covers are manufactured in
aluminium, P
VC and brass. They are available
in any RAL colour and also in wood, gold, silver,
bronze and brass aspects.
►Drilled and countersunk extruded joint
covers are produced for floors, walls and
facades for gaps up to 320 mm wide.
►Folded joint covers are available in stainless
steel, galvanized steel or aluminium (mill finish,
anodized or powder coated).
►Compression profiles are designed to close
expansion joints up to 100 mm wide.

WHAT IS AN EXPANSION JOINT ?
An expansion joint is an empty space, free of any material
between two parts of a structur
e designed to safely absorb
thermal expansion and contraction of building structures,
to absorb vibration or to allow horizontal, vertical or shear
movement due to soil settlement or seismic activity.

Fire resistance testing of construction systems, part 4 : Expansion joint fillers. This standard details a test
method for fire-resistant joint filler according to their final use, with or without movement during the
tests. This standard was approved by the CEN (European Committee for Standardization) in April 2006.

If necessary, remove formwork material such as polystyrene, honeycomb cardboard, etc.
The contact surfaces must be clean, dry and free from contamination. Remove dust, using a brush or a broom.
Apply a layer of VEDACOLLE
adhesive with a brush on both sides
of the joint.
While the adhesive is still wet,
insert VEDAFEU C © by hands into
the joint.
